Sunday Drive

This past sunday we were invited by the Macfarlane's to go on a scenic drive! They picked us up at 10 am and we went from there! Drove to Park City, and through to Mirror Lake, we then ate lunch and hiked around the lake, which was a little over a mile and a half! We then went on our way to Bear Lake!! We didn't get home til about 8:30 that night but we had a really great time!!

Mitchells Cast

Mitchell got his stitches out on Sept. 8th. The doctor said everything was looking good! The bone is in the right spot to start healing, they just said it might take a while for it to heal. He picked a glow in the dark cast with a green stripe that he'll have to wear for the next month!! Silly boy! He already is hating that cast and can't wait for it to come off!!

Las Vegas

Boy did we have a blast! We finally got to see Jordan and Heidi! YAY!

We stayed busy swimming, gambling, playing Rockband, and playing with Jackson!! He's such a happy little boy!

We got to enjoy a few days with Jordan, Heidi, and Jackson in Vegas! We sure miss them and always look forward to being with them whenever the chance comes up! Mitch was in a cast during this time so he did all he could with it and we ended up buying a bag so he could swim with us! Lots of fun and can't wait to see them again!

ATV accident

On July 22nd, at around 9:00 pm, I got a phone call from Mitchell who had been out four-wheeling. He told me he had been in an accident and had broken some bones. I immediatly got into my car and drove to Bountiful B to pick him up. We took him down to U of U ER where he was treated! They did x-rays and told us that he had broken a really small bone in his hand, his scaphoid bone. It was completly turned aroung the wrond way. They let us know he was for sure going to need surgery. Well after dealing with the insurance company for a month we finally found a good doctor and he had his surgery August 22nd. The surgeon was very pleased with the way the surgery went and put only one screw in! He had him in a splint for the past two weeks and we just went in for his post op on September 8th. They x-rayed it and everything still looks good. This time they put him in a hard cast up past his elbow. He picked a glow in the dark cast!! He'll have to wear this one for a month! He's doing well and his spirits are still high, although its very discouraging for him!

Ferrin with Friends!!

Over the 4th of July weekend we went to Ferrin Utah and stayed! We had a lot of fun, Mitch and the boys went fishing and caught some yummy fish, we all also did a lot of four wheeling!! It was a ton of fun! The dogs were so pooped out by the time we got home, they slept for the next 3 days!

Our summer fun!

We sure did a lot this summer! Went camping almost every weekend! We enjoyed a weekend in Bear Lake with the Bowmans, we went to a cave, swimming and fishing!
