Baby Bowman Video

I know this might be a little hard to see what your looking at but Heidi NEEDED to see it :) so glad it uploaded!! In the beginning you'll see the full baby then the doc measure the belly then her head, next she does a close up on the bottom half to try and see the sex of the baby! If you look closely you can see her tiny hands and legs!! GOOD LUCK trying to figure it out! Once you do its so neat to look at!!

Baby Update!!!

We had our 2nd appointment today!! I'm 17 weeks and 5 days and Dr. Johansen says the baby is looking wonderful! Very active and measures just right!! The cord was wrapped around the baby's legs, and the hands were in the way but she said she's 80% sure.....................

I've been telling everyone all along its a girl but about 90% of people thought is was a boy :) Mitch's face was priceless and he asked the doc if she was sure there wasn't a penis :) HAHA my dad ended up going with us because the roads were too bad for me to drive my car so he took me, and when the doc said she saw the cord he said to her "ya you just think that's the cord" haha we had a good laugh! Her name will be Aftyn Deanna Bowman!! I've liked the name Aftyn since about 9th grade and Mitch's grandparents live in Afton Wyoming, and Deanna is after my dear friend Deanna Jackson who was killed in a car accident when we were 16yrs old! I loved her dearly and think about her everyday!!! So there you have it :) Baby Bowman is a GIRL!

MEXICO!!

We went to Mexico Dec. 11-17 to celebrate my graduation, and for Christmas! We had a ton of fun!! We went with Ryan and Heather Jones, Dave and Joni Kennedy, & Hazen and Reagan Price... We did a lot of snorkeling and swimming, went and saw the Mayan Ruins, and one day Mitch and I spent by ourselves and did zip lines, walked through under ground caves, drove ATV things through caves, and went on a little raft that you use hand paddles through more underground caves!! We had so much fun! I had a hard time eating the food though! It was so gross! I don't know if it was just because i'm pregnant and food tastes different to me?? But I was anxious to get home and have real American made food!! It was sure nice to be able to spend time with Mitch after dedicating my life to school these past couple of years!! We're both excited to move on with our lives and start our little family!! Here are some pictures from our trip, not in any particular order, ENJOY!! :)

16 weeks 3 days!!

Okay I promised Heidi (my sister in law) belly pics! So hope you don't mind the bare belly.... I had to take them by myself, hopefully next time Mitch will be around to take them :) oh and just wondering, how far along were you guys when you first felt your baby move?? I'm getting anxious!

Doc said the baby is measuring perfect and i'm okay to announce our WONDERFUL news to everyone!! As of today I am 14 weeks and 3 days!! We get to find out the sex on Dec. 30th and are so thrilled! Sorry its not a very good picture I can't figure out how to download the CD they gave me!! Thanks to everyone who prayed for us! Our Father in Heaven must really know what he's doing! We weren't planning on getting pregnant until I had insurance again but I guess it wasn't going to happen that way! And ITS OKAY!! My due date is the beginning of June! Couldn't be a better month :)

Our Thanksgiving!!

Okay where to start..... Well first of all my blog isn't showing me the pictures I uploaded it just shows me a bunch of jibberish letters and numbers so I can't write about each picture, so bare with me and I hope you get whats going on in these pics :)
We decided last minute to travel with my family to Kansas to see Jordan, Heidi, and Jackson! It sure was a long drive, 6 of us squished in the Durango with all our luggage on top and stuffed in the very back! Not comfortable for a 15 hour drive!! But it was fun, we slept, and did crafts, mitch is under the blanket watching a movie! Dad drove the entire time!! Don't know how he did it! Once we got there we were all starving so Jordan took us to a mexican restaurant :) YUM! When we finally got to the Gucciones (Heidi's parents let us stay at there house while they were away visiting some of their family)we all unpacked visited and went to bed! Heidi got up early the next morning to finish cooking our DELICIOUS Thanksgiving dinner! She cooked the entire meal all by herself! Thanks Heids it was so so so good!! After dinner we just hung out at the house and slept, did crafts, played on the computer, and looked through the ads for our Black Friday Shopping!! We made lists of what we needed and where we needed to go first! We planned on leaving at 4AM so Heidi decided she was just going to stay up! This was going to be her first time going shopping on Black Friday and boy was it FUN!! It was a good thing she stayed up because mom forgot to set her alarm, Whit didn't get up, and I pushed my off button instead of my snooze button on my alarm! Once we all got up and dressed we headed out the door! We had so much fun and could not believe all the people! The target line went all the way back to the road! It was crazy!! We ran into nice people and the occasional rude people! But I guess that's the fun of shopping the day after Thanksgiving! Heidi was so tired by the end of our shopping day it was so nice to go home and nap! Since we won't be able to see The Webb's for Christmas we did a little Christmas party the night before we left! It was fun and everyone got GREAT gifts! We sure enjoyed our stay in Kansas, we ate out every meal (except on Thanksgiving), and had a fun time being with our family!! It was nice to get home though and have a home cooked meal and sleep in our own bed :) Thanks Guccciones and Webb's for the wonderful time! We are so grateful to have you all in our lives and LOVE YOU!!! Hope to see you guys again real soon!!!
